Scarborough University Technical College provides a fantastic opportunity to combine practical experience in engineering, computer science or health whilst studying for Technical Qualifications and GCSEs and A levels. Students can enter the UTC in Year 9 and in Year 12. The recent Ofsted inspection report states: "The pupils and staff thrive together. Motivated pupils who want to do well attend this school. Pupils want to make a positive difference in the world. Dedicated and caring staff are on hand to support the pupils’ aspirations. A planned curriculum that offers enrichment for all pupils helps them develop personally. High expectations are part of everyday life.
